LAST PIECE – DISCONTINUED FABRIC
Soft colour, real Irish craft and an easy layer you will reach for year after year. This supersoft lambswool hooded cape is made in a luminous pastel block check of pale blue, blush pink, soft lemon, lavender-grey and natural cream. Only one remains.
WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT
• Relaxed hooded ruana shape that drapes beautifully without feeling restrictive
• Easy to style with cream, grey, navy, denim, camel and other soft neutrals
• 100% pure new lambswool: naturally warm, breathable and comfortable across the seasons
• Soft fringe finish and generous sweep that shows off the full block-check pattern
• Decorative brooch pin included, so you can wear it open or secure it at the front
• Handmade from scratch in our family workshop in Ireland using hand-guided tools
FIT AND SIZE
One size with an open, flowing fit.
Front length: approximately 35.5 in / 90 cm
Back length: approximately 35.5 in / 90 cm
Width: approximately 54 in / 137 cm
The roomy cut layers easily over a jumper, blouse, dress or jacket. Wear the hood up for extra shelter, down as a soft collar, belted for shape, or loose for an effortless drape.
PURE NEW WOOL
Pure new wool uses newly spun wool fibres rather than reclaimed fibres, with no synthetic blend. Wool provides natural insulation while remaining breathable, helps manage moisture vapour and has a natural resilience that lets the fabric recover from everyday creasing.
Our wool is ethically sourced under our cruelty-free, mulesing-free standard from sheep raised in free-roaming farming systems. Depending on the mill and batch, the wool fibre may originate in Ireland or the UK. This cape is cut and sewn by us in Ireland from supersoft lambswool cloth sourced through a local woollen mill.
IRISH HERITAGE, MADE BY OUR FAMILY
The generous wrap shape draws on the practical tradition of Irish and Celtic outerwear, reworked here in a fresh pastel palette. The photographs were taken at Ross Castle in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland.
We are a family-run Irish craft business. Your purchase supports our small workshop and the continuation of locally made clothing – from our family to yours.
